I moved to Vietnam in January 2021 to teach English. For the most part, life was pretty normal after we got out of our initial quarantine, there were no real COVID restrictions. Until the second wave hit in May. Then June became a super strict lockdown where you weren't even allowed to leave your house to go on a walk! We couldn't take it anymore, so we started doing research on which countries were completely open with no restrictions and we found Turkey! We bought a flight and took off mid-July.
