Istanbul is my favorite city in the WORLD. It literally has everything you could want: an old town with SO much history, a new modern area for shopping and great restaurants, a hipster area for cool vibes and coffee shops, and even the colorful neighborhood of Taksim to experience something completely different. The food is incredible, the people are so kind, the markets are amazing, and all the different smells of spices in the air just round out the magical experience of walking the streets of Istanbul, Turkey.
