After a few days of looking for apartments in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam we found the perfect one! It was in our budget, the decor felt homey, and we loved the location. We wanted something that felt more authentic in a local Vietnamese neighborhood, while also being close enough to work in District 3 and all our expat friends living in Thao Dien.

We originally signed a 1 year lease, but unfortunately had to leave after 8 months due to the second wave that hit Vietnam in summer of 2021. But during those 8 months we absolutely loved our time living in Ho Chi Minh and our apartment.

The total rent is 10.5 million VND/month which includes: rent, wifi, and cleaning & laundry services 2x week. That price doesn't include electricity (4,000 VND/kwh), drinking water (60,000 VND/bottle), and running water (100,000 VND/month).
