Yellowstone National Park is usually a top bucket list item for people traveling through the United States. The park is a massive 3,500 square miles, or 2.2 million acres, which can make it seem overwhelming when planning a visit to this beauty.
I spent a full week in Yellowstone: walking around the geyser fields, going on some hikes, and most importantly spotting wildlife. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when going to Yellowstone, I just knew that it was one of the most visited National Parks in the US. And yes it's beautiful, but my favorite part was just looking for wildlife to spot. There's SO much of it!
We saw multiple grizzly bears, 2 moose, and tons of elk, bison and pronghorn! My main tip for you is if you ever see people pulled over on the side of the road, you pull over too. 99% of the time it's a wildlife sighting and you don't want to miss that!
Since the park is so massive it can seem overwhelming to plan out what you'll do each day. So let me make it even easier by planning out your 4-day itinerary for you:
